Well hello there,
This is my first blog that I kind of have to make for school in order for me to not fail 10th grade English. You see, when I first thought of this project I had an amazing idea for a subject. So, I was planning on doing this blog on movies so I could just write about Frozen all day long (Because Frozen is awesome, did you know they're making a second). But it was not to be, the project has to be about a subject that's socially relevant in the world right now, so not Frozen, and then I blanked about a subject. I thought, thought and thought some more but still to no avail. Then I realized, in Frozen, Elsa totally froze the whole country right? And isn't that the exact opposite of what's happening to the earth with all of that global warming stuff going on? That's it! I'll do my blog on global warming! I'm a genius!
Well, to be more precise, the subject my blog won't be global warming but on climate change. I thought this would be better as it's a broader subject and encompasses not only global warming, but also all the other anomalies that have to do with the earth's climate. And so, since there's more to talk about there would be more to write about as well. To be honest, I think this plan to get an A deserves an A. Anyway, since climate change has a lot of facts and statistics this is mostly going to be a research blog. And I’m pretty much just going to be discussing the causes and effects of climate change in the world right now.
Anyway, that’s all I’m writing about today. I’ll start to actually talk about global warming and climate change on my next post.

Hey Matt! I love how you integrated your sense of humour in your blog, it makes it easier to read! Will you include picture of this climate change, especially what's happening in the North and South poles with the polar bears and such? There's this fantastic movie on climate change, An Inconvenient Truth, will you be commenting on that movie as well? I find that yes, we have brought up climate change in the past years, there have been many movements to raise awareness to this issue and people know. This issue, however, I find, is one of the only ones that people know what to do and how to do it, but they just don't do it. I will be reading your blog regularly!

Also, since you couldn't do a blog on movies, don't you think reviewing movies about climate change is a good idea? There's plenty of movies that are on that subject that you have plenty to work with. I really look forward to your next posts!

ReplyDeleteHey Jared, thanks for the feedback, I think global warming is important as well which is one of the reasons it is the subject of my blog. And I'm not sure if my next post will be as entertaining as my first one since I just kind of write what I think. But I have some really good ideas for future posts so just keep reading to see them

I can agree that your topic mostly needs research, but you will be able to include your opinion in between, so no worries. I look forward to reading your next posts and learning a little more!

I also enjoy the game that you put up, but it's really difficult It took me three tried to get past level one! Anyway, I am very interested in what causes are used to have climate changes.
